Luke was sitting and Josh was on the couch. Josh was holding a teddy bear (as seen in the following pics) and mused aloud if he could knock Luke over if he threw it hard enough at him. I said yes, Luke would fall over, he thought not. Without saying another word, I put my arm in front of the baby and Josh hurled the bear. Besides being slightly confused as to what happened, Luke held firm!
That was probably the hardest I have ever laughed as we processed what we had just done...
Bekah is starting to have preferences as to what she wears- hence the scarf and raccoon tights sans bottoms.
Poor Luke takes a lot of abuse- Bekah put a bow on his head and announced, "Lukey's a present!"
Luke decided it was more fun to eat the bow...
The tree! Becks helped decorate and Luke even watched. I wrapped most of our presents this morning and we are still discussing that presents are for Christmas. Rebekah already wants to know which are hers and what's in each one...(note in the background that the grass is still green!)
No, these actually were not posed...Bekah gave Luke some much needed love and attention totally on her own...

Oddly, in Europe, their grass seems to stay green all winter long. You'll have to let me know if that's true as far north as Aberdeen! :)
We miss and love you!
That is so funny! WAY TO GO LUKE!!
As for the tree, it is very pretty! I can't get over how cute you have made your little place, and how you have made it your own! :)
What a cutie pie! I love Luke in that shirt! Your tree is adorable. I got out last year's pictures. It is a blue and silver year for us, but I do so love the red now!
Great toy to sit in front of! We're trying to get Charlie to stand in front of toys like that (pretty sturdy) to keep her interested and hopefully motivate her to walk...not working so far. Hey check my blog--Noah is here!
That is hilarious! Conley is going through a stage of insisting on picking out his outfits, quite hilarious and frustrating! Love R's hair in the ponytail, she is so cute!
Em,
How nice to have green grass! The tree looks festive and fun - I'm so glad you have it! Rebekah's outfit is hilarious and how precious of her hugging Luke. Great kiddos!!
LOL! I can totally see you and Josh chunking that teddy bear at poor unsuspecting Luke. ha! I would have bet on the sturdy guy, too! I love the pics of all the family hanging out on the floor. I can't wait for those moments, myself. Beautiful tree!
Sometimes I think Josh and Bill were made from a similar mold :) And I love that you can put your Christmas tree out and not worry about it. We're still trying to figure out exactly where we're going to put ours. Right now, we're thinking on top of our coffee table in the corner. Luke has a one-track-mind when it comes to things like that...
Can't believe I missed this one totally. Scott and Zach were looking over my shoulder and we all giggled because it looks like R is squeezing Luke's head off. You are obviously fostering love between those two!
