Oh- by the way...Rebekah had her 1-year appt last Friday- she was 32 inches, above 100th% (it is average for a 20-mo-old) and 20 lbs (35th%). I was delighted to see her weight go up, especially since she has been weaned for a month now...yea, Bunny!
This monster pork sandwich was at Joensy's in Solon (10 minutes north of IC)...seriously, oh my gosh!

This is from our favorite restaurant, Iowa River Power Company Restaurant...we went there the day before Bunny's birthday to celebrate...it was where we went last July when she was 6 days old and Dad couldn't remember her name when asked due to his calling her Twinkie or some such nickname....it was also where she wouldn't quit crying and I realized for the first time that babies weren't very predictable!

Dad and Becky at Hamburg Inn...

Becky and Amanda...so lovely!

The first 2 are from week before last...she had just gotten up from a sweaty nap...we thought it was funny!

Doesn't she look so big in my dad's arms?! She is in her new camo skirt and is simply darling, don't you think? (answer, yes)

She's hanging out with my dad after lunch on her birthday.

Swinging with Grandmama and Granddaddy in our backyard. Josh worked really hard and we have a lovely, lush green yard now!

Josh and I went away overnight for the first time since we had Rebekah! We spent the night in a lovely bed and breakfast in Dubuque, IA last night. It's about an hour and a half away. Anyway, we ate at a fun place, Timmerman Supper Club, which looked like it could have been featured in Dirty Dancing...seriously, I was looking for the play pen and the off-limits staff cabin...anyway, this was our view overlooking IL across the Mississippi River...we though the bunny hut was hilarious! We had an awesome dinner of steak and Alaskan crab legs, while my parents and Becky ate left-overs at our house with Bunny!

These are from Dubuque...

This afternoon, we drove to Galena, IL for lunch and some shopping...we ate an amazing Italian lunch at Vinny Vanucci's (spelling?)...wow! This was it as you go up the hill...the rest are Galena...it was a really fun town...unfortunately, rain dominated the day....

A view of America's River, the great Mississippi, as we drove over it...

Due to the rain, my desire to go to the Nat'l Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium (I am a sucker for aquariums and anything with live animals) was granted...here are some shots from inside...

As we drove out of Dubuque back towards IC...thought it was pretty...
