I keep meaning to do a kid-update.
Rebekah:
-loves seeing all her grandparents
-wears size 5 in most things, size 9/10 shoe
-still loves puzzles and crafts
-gets very emotionally-involved in movies
-asks "why?" 30 million times an hour
-will start preschool when we get back
-has really enjoyed playing with new friends
-loves sleeping on a pallet
Luke:
-has 16 teeth, the last 3 have come in the last week or 2
-is walking all the time!!!
-now hates the stroller (see second fact)
-wants to do everything his big sister is doing
-still loves music
-is learning new boundaries now that he's on the go
-loves his grandfathers a lot- besides his great love for me, Luke is starting to seem to prefer
men
-loves barking at dogs
-has new words every day: hot, hi!, Mamama, Papa, Nana, guh (go), siiii (outside), dow (down),
bwu (blue), snuh (snack), juh (juice), etc. The cutest was when I was cooking and lifted a lid, so
steam came up- my Mom noticed Luke saying, "Hot!"
Both kids have been champs with all the transitions- I was so impressed with how well they have done on countless flights and car trips to several cities and even states. They play together in the car and are really sweet. Since our Germany trip, Luke has been able to fall asleep in the car without crying- yea!! Luke has also been able to sleep in different beds and even nap at a friend's house. I am so proud of my little guys that I will overlook their early wake-ups this morning. :)
And the winner is….

Wow, that's great Em! It will be so fun to look back on your blog one day and say, wow, look how they have grown! I'm sure you already do.:)
Great news! I love that Luke likes "barking at dogs," not "barking dogs..." So funny. I've noticed that Ty seems to really love men too. Weird how they figure that part out so early. I'm so impressed/glad they are so flexible for you during this trip!
Our kids are growing up too fast, especially our boys. Luke is going to be like a different kid when you guys get back! Callum can chase him around since that seems to be one of Callum's new favorite things. Perhaps Luke could bark at him. :)
Who is barking more - Duncan or Luke? He may have some big competition when Sarah gets there! Glad the kids did well traveling.
your little "emily-isms" are funny. can't wait to meet you in person!
