Seemed fitting to dress our little pumpkin as a...pumpkin! We took some pics of our kids at play group, so those are the ones on the couch!
With her pumpkin basket for the first time... Not really sure how to go about this, but Josh did teach her to say trick or treat...we only hit 2 houses, then answered our own door. Loved watching her walk with Josh. She was delighted with her tootsie roll pop! She devoured it in an hour! Yes, she's running! Josh took her hand then let it go. Rebekah stopped, looked up at him, and held her hand up...it was a precious moment for us all! A littles rest so she could eat her sucker better. The corner of our street- we promised LuAnne we would stop by...good times. A little sugar high- she bounced back and forth on the cushions many, many times! Then, she noticed our bowl of candy!
Who could resist this winsome face??? Rebekah was practically begging her Dada to chase and catch her! The funny thing was that she was too impatient to wait for him to get her- she would run right into his arms! Too cute!
Apparently her short nap combined with all that play was just too exhausting! No, she is not asleep- she reenergized in about 10 seconds and was back at it!
I forgot to mention that Rebekah has started singing- she tries to sing the theme song to Backyardigans the way her dad does...he'll start it and she'll try to chime in. So, now she hums the song to get to watch it.

Not just a few times I have found Rebekah semi-nude after her nap...this time, Josh found her without her shirt yesterday. She loves being naked!
This morning after church, I made a tactical error in giving Rebekah a double chocolate muffin for the car ride to lunch...geez! Lunch wasn't much better!
The last Friday of every month at the mall is full of freebies! Free kids' meals, free carousel rides, and free entrance into the Iowa Children's Museum. Amanda, Nate, and Grace invited us to join them- Josh was camping so we loved having the company! Unfortunately, Rebekah had a really rough nap, so she was exhausted...we did our best to entertain her. This was my favorite part- the grocery store...Rebes was a little all over the place. She seemed the most intrigued by the Motion room- lots of fun ways to play with gravity, etc...I guess she takes after her dad, which explained her lack of interest in the grocery store. In other news, we have a car radio/cd player again!!!! Back in June, I left a light on in the minivan and the car died. As part of antitheft, the radio dies unless you have the code to reset it. Since we bought the van used and not certified, we didn't have the code to reset it. Anyway, those of you with great memories might remember that this was just after I jammed the key in the ignition and we had to spend $400 to get it out, so I was hesitant to spend even the $50 for labor to get the radio code (and, yes, I mean I was hesitant- Josh told me to get it done anytime). 4 months later, I caved- Rebekah is such a music lover that I had to give in. It was amazing having tunes again!
