Just Another Day at the Office

I stopped by Josh's office today before we went to my Bible study...he was in a meeting and we were able to visit with Janene & Lisa instead. Lisa snapped these photos and I thought I'd share her handiwork.

Josh calls this one peekaboob...inappropriate, I know!

This is Bunny's Blue Steel look...

Hi!
Helping Janene make some calls...

Seriously, helping with the phone...

Look at those blues!
Great lashes!

Look at Those Legs!

Yesterday was finally warm! So, we donned the shorts and flip-flops and just watched Rebekah stretch all over the place. She LOVED her new shoes and enjoyed her usual flexibility in them.

I cut Rebekah's bangs today since she can't wear clips anymore due to her proclivity to chew on them and possibly choke...so, she kind of looks like a mini-monk, but it's hard for her not to be super-cute! Let me know what you think! (this is her turtle-face, by the way)

Time with Grandmama

My mom visited us this week for a whole week! She arrived Monday and we once again trekked out to the Amana Colonies where Rebekah quickly warmed up to her grandmama. :) No surprise there. Grandmama is so funny!
We ran into my good friend Andrea at Target who remarked that she should have known that it would be me taking pics of my daughter in Target!

1. Who's pushing me again?
2. Wow, this duck is delicious!
3. Oh, hey, Mom!
Grandmama took Rebekah for her first Carousel ride! It was up and down and really, really fast, but Bekah did great!

Straddlin' the World

Happy Easter! Our family at church this morning.

Rebekah has begun to scoot through this "tunnel"- she's pretty proud of herself!

Did we mention she's flexible?

Happy Easter

Happy Easter from our little bunny! Josh and I just finished the Passion- how grateful we are that Easter is not really about bunnies and eggs, but our Risen Savior!

For My Brother and Becky

This is on honor of my brother, Billy, and his amazing wife, Becky. They gave Rebekah her favorite stuffed animal, a yellow lab with sweet eyes named Dallas. Billy always names his labs after Texas towns. Dallas is meant to be a constant reminder that we left the great state of Texas and that our daughter is an Iowan, of all things!

Anyway, Billy thinks I'm just humoring him when I tell him that Rebekah loves Dallas...little does he know that I bribed her with ice cream... :) Seriously, Bekah was dragging him around all afternoon- after prying him out of baby David's hands- and laying her sleepy head on him.

Love this expression!

A Mohawk Bath

So, as previously mentioned, Rebekah is signing "please" when she wants something. Granted, it doesn't fit its original or intended meaning, but at least she communciates that she wants something! Yesterday, I gave her a bite of a chocolate shake- she was signing "please" before she swallowed! Her joy was almost not worth her disappointment when it was gone!

Josh gave Rebekah her bath last night- so, yes, this is his handywork... :)

Rebekah and I visited Carrie again today- she was very excited to play with the boys' video game!

More Crazy Positions

The first one is Josh and Rebekah at the wedding Josh officiated Saturday. The rest are yesterday.

My friend, Andrea, said that this giraffe was animal form of Rebekah's flexibility- I thought it was hilarious!

This is the position she pushed herself up into...
Now that we ahve a new rug, Rebekah has decided to become incredibly mobile and travel to the dining room and kitchen as frequently as possible...figures! She is very pleased with herself when she leaves Daddy and finds Mama in the kitchen! She is becoming more and more independent, which is really exciting!
(Note the in-between rugs placement- again, why did we get a new rug?)
Josh helped Rebekah walk yesterday- she'll get there soon, I'm sure!
